St. Teresa Specialist & Laser Eye Centre was established in 2018 with the aim to provide quality eyecare services at an affordable cost to all. We are located at 140, New Lagos Road, Benin city Edo State, Nigeria.

In the quest to eradicate needless blindness which accounts for about 80% blindness in Nigeria, we focus on treatment for cataract, glaucoma and refractive error which accounts for the majority of avoidable blindness.

We provide comprehensive eye care services which include evaluation and treatment of eye conditions like cataracts, glaucoma, refractive error, vitreoretinal diseases, corneal oculoplastic and uveitis.

The quality of our eye care service attracts people from all over the country. 

We offer cataract treatment with cutting edge facilities and our visual outcome post-surgery exceeds WHO outcome criteria. Our cataract setup also caters for high volume surgeries with the aim to mop up backlog in our communities. 

We offer various treatment modality for glaucoma including medical, surgical and laser modes.

 In addition, we have ND YAG Laser for posterior capsular opacification “after cataract”

We render community eye care services to rural communities that lack health care facilities and poor road access in order to meet the needs of the poorest of the poor and vulnerable in society.

Our community eye care services entails:  awareness programs, screening for different conditions, dispensing glasses and performing cataract surgeries with our mobile cataract theatre.
